Creation’s work for Bristol student lettings specialists Anthony James & Co makes the most of social engagement to help the business spread the word amongst its target market.

As well as a really user friendly website with search option, the site makes it really easy for students to share the properties they’re interested in with their friends, both by email and on Facebook.

The site works the way social connected students work – if you’re looking for a student house you want to very quickly show your potential housemates the places you’re interested in – so we designed the site to make that really simple. The combined easy search and share facility has had a dramatic effect on the popularity of the site. It’s leapt from 2 users a day to over 400 – with many of those 400 staying on the site to view 20 pages or more.

As the design program was rolled out, we implemented a refresh of their brand identity updating the logo style by simplifying and sharpening it to reflect the modern dynamic company that they are. The new brand identity has encompassed every part of the business, not just letterhead and business cards but email signatures, tender documents and transport.

We have also produced a credentials presentation for use in tender presentations and undertaken the development of graphics in the head office reception area with information screens and exterior signage. Finally, we have this year designed a new corporate brochure which is used to support their sales and marketing activity – the last piece of the jigsaw to complete the transformation of Whitehead Building Service.
